We are a locally owned and operated business based in the beautiful village of Ballandean, at the epicenter of the Granite Belt wine region.

The area is recognised as Queensland’s premier wine region and nationally awarded for its gourmet produce.

Wine Discovery Tours provides an alternative wine tour experience catering for people who want a personalised small group luxury travel option. We incorporate wine tours and sightseeing for a unique and total wine region indulgence.

Touring between wineries you will experience the beautiful Granite Belt landscape, including the famous Pyramids and an abundance of amazing flora and fauna. Visit the region’s hot spots and boutique wineries - all in comfort and style.

We can personalise a tour to suit your requirements.

Our standard tour includes:

Pickup from accommodation at 9.30am
Option to visit gourmet cheese shops, Suttons Apple Cidery, Granite Belt Brewery and the USQ Wine College
Lunch at the highly awarded cellar door restaurant. Awarded best winery restaurant 2015, 2016, 2017 and and 2018
Tour the region’s highly awarded wineries including private wine tastings and tours. The boutique wine region boasts six 5 Star ***** James Halliday rated wineries
Return to accommodation 4pm

Travel in uncompromised luxury:

You will travel in our class leading Volkswagen Multi Van. The vehicle has a spacious interior with seating for 6 passengers. With updated suspension for a safe and extremely comfortable ride.

Alternatively, we provide an upgraded couple private bookings, which will enable you to personalise your own tour. Take a look at our area map for ideas and of course, we can also help you out with suggestions – we are the local experts.

Our tours include a two course gourmet lunch at an award winning cellar door.
